Kylie Minogue and Quentin Tarantino spark mystery with surprise Wales filming
Kylie Minogue and Quentin Tarantino were seen filming scenes in a Welsh seaside town, sparking intrigue

Pop star Kylie Minogue and acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino have been spotted filming scenes in the Welsh seaside town of Porthcawl, drawing attention from local residents and film fans alike.
The pair were seen shooting scenes at several locations, including Newton Church and the Saltwater Inn, where a funeral and wake sequence were reportedly filmed. Witnesses said Minogue and Tarantino appeared relaxed on set, with some locals reporting that the two were seen laughing and singing together during breaks in filming.
The project is being directed by Welsh filmmaker Jamie Adams, who recently collaborated with Tarantino on the independent film Only What We Carry. The movie also featured actors Simon Pegg and Charlotte Gainsbourg and recently screened at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
Film director Quentin Tarantino and Kylie Minogue were spotted in Newton, Porthcawl on Saturday, 20 June, with surprised locals stopping for selfies and autographs, Valley Times reports on Facebook.

Several well-known Welsh actors participated in the Porthcawl shoot, including Siwan Morris, William Thomas, Julian Lewis Jones and Karen Paullada. Members of Porthcawl Male Choir were also invited to appear as extras and assist with musical performances filmed at the church and wake scenes.
The production has sparked speculation about whether the footage is connected to Only What We Carry or an entirely new film project. Neither the filmmakers nor production representatives have publicly confirmed details about the shoot.
Tarantino was also reportedly seen in Cardiff during the filming period, where he interacted with fans while visiting a local hotel.
While details about the project remain under wraps, the appearance of two internationally recognised entertainment figures in Wales has generated considerable excitement. For now, audiences will have to wait for official confirmation regarding the film's title, storyline and release plans.
