Reprieve: Man injuring aunt gets bail

PHC on Monday ordered the release of a man arrested for injuring his aunt three months ago.

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Monday ordered the release of a man arrested for injuring his aunt three months ago. After hearing the arguments of the defense and prosecution and examining key witnesses, Justice Dost Muhammad Khan ordered the release of Abdul Wali on bail. The accused was arrested on June 26, 2011 for injuring his aunt over a petty dispute. The PHC granted bail on a surety bond of Rs200, 000 and two personal guarantees.
