Vivian Jenna Wilson declined to discuss her estranged father, Elon Musk, during a brief exchange with a reporter at the Desigual 40th anniversary event.

The 22-year-old model and activist was speaking to media on June 2 when an interviewer raised the subject of the Tesla and SpaceX chief executive.

“Your father, the best, no?” the reporter asked.

Appearing uncertain about the question, Wilson asked for clarification. After the interviewer repeated, “Your father,” she responded, “Okay,” before walking away from the interview.

The incident comes amid a long-running public estrangement between Wilson and Musk. The pair have been largely disconnected since 2020, when Wilson came out as transgender and later legally changed her name.

In recent years, Wilson has spoken openly about her relationship with her father. During an interview in March 2025, she described Musk as “a pathetic man-child” and dismissed suggestions that his wealth or influence intimidated her.

She also publicly criticised several of Musk’s actions and statements, including comments linked to politics and social issues. Wilson additionally accused her father of making what she described as a “Nazi salute” during a public appearance, remarks that generated significant debate online.
