Robbery: Bandits shoot man for resisting

15 robbers broke into Moza Beheshti resident's house on Monday morning and tied up the family demanding cash.

A group of robbers allegedly killed a man for trying to resist a robbery bid on Sunday. According to police officials, a band of 15 robbers broke into Moza Beheshti resident Muhammad Iqbal’s house on Monday morning and tied up the family demanding cash. Iqbal tried to fight off the men and two of the robbers shot and killed him. Police reached the scene two hours after the robbers had escaped. Police officials have registered a case and said that the robbers had left three motorcycles and some stolen goods in a nearby field to make a quick getaway.
