Bethesda and Modiphius announce new Fallout tabletop games for 2026
Bethesda and Modiphius are expanding Fallout with new tabletop games and updated starter sets in 2026

Bethesda and UK-based tabletop developer Modiphius have announced a new partnership expansion for the Fallout franchise, introducing multiple tabletop game releases planned throughout 2026.
The collaboration includes a brand-new skirmish game titled Fallout: Factions alongside a second edition update for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, Modiphius’ long-running miniatures game based on the post-apocalyptic series.
According to official product listings, Fallout: Factions will launch with the Battle for Boston Starter Set in late July 2026.
The set is priced at $135 and reportedly sold out its initial preorder allocation shortly after being announced, leading Modiphius to open a waitlist for future stock notifications.
The starter package includes a 106-page rulebook, 20 unpainted miniatures featuring Brotherhood of Steel and Institute factions, terrain sheets, a double-sided battle map, tokens and dice.
Buyers will also receive an exclusive miniature of Robert MacCready, the mercenary companion featured in Fallout 4.
The new tabletop game allows players to control factions including the Brotherhood of Steel, the Institute, the Minutemen and the Railroad as they compete for influence across the Commonwealth setting from Fallout 4.
Modiphius also confirmed new updates for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, which first launched eight years ago. Two new core products, titled Into the Wasteland Solo Starter and Warband Starter Set, are scheduled for release during the second half of 2026.
The Warband Starter Set will reportedly focus more heavily on miniatures, while both new sets are intended to provide accessible entry points for new players.
