The pregnancy marks a new chapter for Cooper and Kaplan, whose relationship first became public after years of privacy surrounding their romance. The couple initially connected over Zoom in 2020, with Cooper famously referring to Kaplan as “Mr. Sexy Zoom Man” on her podcast before revealing his identity following their 2023 engagement.

The pair married in a beachside ceremony in Riviera Maya, Mexico, in 2024. Speaking to Vogue after the wedding, Cooper described the celebration as “emotional” and “heartfelt,” while also praising Kaplan for handling much of the planning process.

Cooper has previously opened up about personal health struggles and fertility concerns on Call Her Daddy, including discussions about contracting HPV years before meeting Kaplan. She credited her husband for supporting her through the experience and helping her feel comfortable discussing fears about future motherhood.

Following the announcement, fans and celebrities flooded social media with congratulatory messages as Cooper joined a growing list of stars welcoming babies in 2026.

Neither Cooper nor Kaplan has yet shared further details regarding the pregnancy, including the baby’s due date or gender.
