The recent tensions between US, Israel, and Iran have shown the importance of a balanced and principled approach. Throughout this crisis, Pakistan has tried to play the role of a responsible country, urging restraint and pushing for dialogue, while avoiding any moves that could make things worse. Islamabad hasn't taken sides for the sake of bloc politics. Instead, it focused on de-escalation, regional stability, and sticking to international law. This helped build trust in Pakistan’s diplomatic approach.
Pakistan has always backed the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and continue to do so: Pakistan supports an independent, sovereign Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders. It’s not just politics for us. This stance comes from a place of principle: we believe in doing what’s right, legal, and in line with what the world considers just, rather than getting swayed by short-term political pressures.
Pakistan is a firm believer of the fact that there can’t be real peace in the Middle East unless the Palestine issue is resolved fairly. No matter which government has been in power, Pakistan’s support for Palestinian self-determination has remained the same. We’ve consistently spoken out against occupation, illegal settlements, and violations of international law. Whether at UN or the OIC forum, Pakistan has always raised its voice for accountability and a peaceful solution that respects Palestinian rights.

This measured response has also strengthened Pakistan’s image in the Muslim world. At a time when many Muslim countries are looking for balanced leadership, Pakistan has stepped up as a credible voice. Our efforts to mediate, reach out diplomatically, and reduce tensions have been recognized as the actions of a mature state that genuinely cares about peace.
Because of this, Pakistan now has more space and credibility to speak up for Palestine on the global stage. We’ve built that credibility by choosing diplomacy and international law over force and unilateral action. This gives us a stronger position to rally international support, bring Muslim countries together on Palestine, and push for a settlement that guarantees the rights, dignity, and security of Palestinians.
Going forward, Pakistan will keep using every diplomatic and peaceful channel available to support Palestine, while also contributing to broader peace efforts. Pakistan's commitment to justice, rule of law, and collective security isn’t going to change. In a world that’s becoming more divided and unstable, Pakistan’s balanced and principled approach offers a sensible way forward and reinforces our role as a responsible member of the international community and a leading voice for the Muslim world.
