CM declares family greatest strength

Urges people to spend time with their parents, siblings, children

LAHORE:

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated in her message on the International Day of Families that family is the greatest source of strength and happiness.

She said every member of her family was her most valuable asset and described family support as her greatest strength and happiness.

The chief minister urged people to spend time with their parents, siblings and children and express gratitude to them.

She added that assistance had been extended to four million families by the Punjab government through the Ramazan Nigehban Package.

In another statement, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed sorrow over the demise of former provincial ministerMalik Nadeem Kamran. She extended her condolences to the bereaved family and paid tribute to the deceased over his political services.

CM Maryam Nawaz said Malik Nadeem was a people-friendly leader who always remained close to party workers.

His services for the Pakistan Muslim League-N would always be remembered, she added.
