'Honour' kills woman, injured man

As honour killings show no relent in rural Sindh, a mother of five children was gunned down and his alleged paramour was critically injured in Sujawal Junejo, Qambar Shahdadkot district, on Monday.

Wife of Ali Gul Brohi, died on the spot while Bahadur Brohi was shifted to a hospital in Larkana district in a serious condition.

According to the police, the incident happened in village Zaman Brohi.

The suspects managed to escape while the police are yet to make any arrest or register an FIR.

Postmortem of the woman's body was performed at Miru Khan civil hospital.

SHO of Sujawal Junejo police station, Anwar Abro, told that the police will lodge an FIR on the state's complaint.

The family sources informed the cops that the woman's cousin Rehamdil Brohi and his associates had fired gunshots on Ameena and Bahadur.
