Assailants abduct Kalat DSP from station

Unidentified armed assailants launched a brazen attack on Mangchar Police Station in Kalat district of Balochistan on Sunday, abducting Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Muhammad Yousuf along with his personal guard and official vehicle, according to sources.
The incident occurred around 2 pm on Sunday, when heavily armed militants suddenly stormed the police station. The attackers entered the facility and forcibly seized DSP Muhammad Yousuf, along with his accompanying guard, bundling them into the official vehicle before fleeing to an unknown destination.
Panic and fear gripped the area during the attack, while the assailants managed to escape easily after carrying out the operation. Preliminary reports indicate that DSP Muhammad Yousuf was present in his office when the armed men entered the police station, took him hostage, and drove off with him.
Immediately after the incident, police and other security agencies cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Strict roadblocks have been set up at all entry and exit points of Mangchar. So far, no trace has been found of the abducted DSP, his guard, or the official vehicle. Authorities have launched further investigations into the incident.
