Swedish pop star Zara Larsson handled an unexpected wardrobe malfunction like a pro after her stiletto heel broke mid-performance during NBC’s Today Show Summer Concert Series appearance in New York City.

The singer had already performed several songs, including Midnight Sun, Pretty Ugly, and Stateside, before launching into her 2015 hit Lush Life when the heel on one of her sparkly silver shoes suddenly snapped. At one point during the set, Larsson invited Today co-host Sheinelle Jones onstage to join her viral Lush Life dance. While addressing the audience, the singer jokingly revealed the broken shoe and encouraged fans to “dance extra hard” despite the malfunction.

Videos of the moment quickly spread online, with fans praising Larsson for staying calm and continuing the energetic choreography without missing a beat. The singer later appeared on the 3rd Hour of Today with a repaired shoe and reflected on how grateful she feels during this phase of her career.

The appearance comes amid a major career resurgence for Larsson following the success of her album Midnight Sun and her hit collaboration Stateside with PinkPantheress, which recently became her highest-charting song in the United States.
