Netflix has released the official trailer for A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder season 2, teasing a darker and more complex mystery for Emma Myers’ character, Pip Fitz-Amobi.

The upcoming season, based on Holly Jackson’s second novel Good Girl, Bad Blood, is set to premiere on May 27 and will consist of six 45-minute episodes. After solving the Andie Bell case in season 1, Pip initially hopes to move on from investigations, but is quickly pulled back into another case.

The new storyline centres on the disappearance of Jamie Reynolds, the brother of Connor Reynolds, just days before he is due to testify in the trial of Max Hastings. The case raises fresh questions and draws Pip into a high-stakes search for answers.

The trailer shows Pip documenting the case through her podcast while dealing with mounting pressure and potential threats. Max Hastings, previously accused of serious crimes, also reappears, intensifying the tension as legal and personal stakes rise.

Returning cast members include Zain Iqbal as Ravi Singh and Asha Banks as Cara Ward, alongside other supporting characters. The series continues to blend investigative storytelling with psychological drama as Pip navigates conflicting evidence and growing danger.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder season 2 will stream globally on Netflix, while also airing on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer in the UK. The new season aims to build on the success of its debut with a more suspense-driven narrative.
