'Avengers: Doomsday' leak suggests Tobey Maguire Spider-Man return
Leak indicates Tobey Maguire may return as Spider-Man in 'Avengers: Doomsday' alongside major characters

A reported leak surrounding Avengers: Doomsday has generated discussion among Marvel audiences, with claims that Tobey Maguire will reprise his role as Spider-Man in the upcoming film.
Insider account MyTimeToShineHello stated on X that Maguire is set to appear in the crossover, with the post attracting significant attention online.
The claim follows an earlier report by Daniel Richtman, who said Maguire would return as Peter Parker and suggested the actor was using a CGI-enhanced costume during filming.
MyTimeToShineHello further indicated that the character will feature a new suit, marking a potential change in design not previously seen in the character’s film history.
Images circulating online, described as leaked set photos, appear to show Maguire in costume on set.
Reports also suggest the film may open with a sequence involving Spider-Man alongside Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds, and Wolverine, portrayed by Hugh Jackman.
The scene has been described as including apparent deaths for both Logan and Peter Parker before their return later in the story.
Maguire last appeared as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where multiple versions of the character were introduced through a multiverse storyline.
Tom Holland’s version of Spider-Man is reportedly being reserved for Avengers: Secret Wars, with other versions of the character expected to feature in Doomsday.
Insider Alex Perez has also claimed that storylines involving Maguire and Andrew Garfield may conclude in Secret Wars.
Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and written by Stephen McFeely. The film includes a large ensemble cast and is scheduled for release on December 18.
