Three convicts sentenced to life, 28 years

RAWALPINDI:

District and sessions courts have sentenced three convicts in separate cases of murder, attempted murder, and drug smuggling, awarding life imprisonment, 28 years of jail time, and fines totalling Rs1.66 million.

An Additional District and Sessions Judge convicted Ali Raza in a murder case registered at Ratta Amral police station. He was awarded life imprisonment, 10 years additional imprisonment, and fines totaling Rs1.5 million, along with a surety bond of Rs200,000.

The convict had opened fire during a minor altercation in May 2022, killing one person and injuring another.
