Creator Vivienne Medrano addressed the news in a statement, saying, “I’m so thankful for how Prime Video has championed our vision at SpindleHorse, and I’m grateful for their partnership and commitment to bringing Hazbin Hotel to its epic conclusion.” She added, “I’m so excited for fans to see how this story ends.”
Hazbin Hotel first premiered in January 2024 and quickly expanded, with Seasons 3 and 4 approved shortly after its debut. Season 2 was released in autumn 2025, bringing the total episode count to 16 so far.
Season 3 is expected to arrive within the next year, although an official release date has not been confirmed. The timeline for Season 5 has also not been announced.
Amazon MGM Studios’ head of animation, Melissa Wolfe, commented on the series’ trajectory, stating, “From its inception, Hazbin Hotel has pushed the boundaries of adult animation through bold storytelling, vibrant artistry, and unapologetic heart.”
She added that the studio is “thrilled to give the series—and its passionate community—a fitting, unforgettable final chapter.”
The series has built a global audience since its launch, with its narrative and visual style contributing to its continued expansion across multiple seasons. The confirmed ending provides a clear structure for the remaining storyline as production continues.
