3 killed, 20 injured in bus-police van crash

At least three people, including a traffic police inspector, were killed and 20 others injured when a passenger coach collided with a police van on Kala Khatai Road near Kala Shah Kaku on Sunday.
Rescue 1122 officials said the accident occurred near Karol Stop in the Shahzad Town area when a passenger coach travelling from Narang Mandi to Lahore reportedly rammed into a police van due to overspeeding.
Rescue 1122 teams from Shahdara and Ferozewala reached the scene and shifted the injured and deceased to various hospitals in Lahore.
Officials said 15 injured persons remained under treatment, while several others were provided first aid at the scene.
