FIFA is preparing to make history at the FIFA World Cup 2026 final with the tournament’s first-ever halftime show. The major event is set for July 19 at MetLife Stadium, marking a new entertainment era for the world’s biggest sporting stage.

Gianni Infantino previously confirmed the halftime show plans, describing it as a celebration where sport, music, and culture come together. The show is being curated by Chris Martin alongside Global Citizen, with Coldplay involved behind the scenes.

But while excitement continues to build, one major detail remains unknown: FIFA has still not revealed the official performers. Speculation is already swirling over which global superstars could land the historic slot, but organizers are keeping the lineup tightly under wraps.

The 2026 tournament will also be the first expanded men’s World Cup featuring 48 teams, making the final one of the most watched sporting events on the planet. Additional celebrations are also expected in Times Square, adding even more scale to the spectacle.

With billions expected to tune in worldwide, the only question left is who will take the stage for one of the biggest halftime performances ever.
