Sabrina Carpenter Coachella 2026 set plans revealed ahead of headline performances
Sabrina Carpenter previews ambitious Coachella 2026 headline shows after months of preparation

Sabrina Carpenter has outlined plans for her upcoming Coachella 2026 headline performances, describing them as the most ambitious shows of her career to date. The singer is scheduled to perform on Friday, April 10 and Friday, April 17, marking her first appearance as a headliner at the festival.
In an interview with Marc Jacobs for Perfect, Carpenter said the production has been in development for several months. “It’s the most ambitious show I’ve ever done,” she said.
“It’s probably the most time I’ve ever had to actually just sit down and talk about a show as I’m building it. Most of the time, you’re really quickly thrust into physical rehearsals, but this time around we started this process around seven months ago. So it’s been a long journey. It will be very special.”
Carpenter previously performed on Coachella’s main stage in 2024 but noted that headlining represents a different scale.
Reflecting on that earlier appearance, she said, “I’ve played, but not as a headliner. I was playing sunset, around 5.30 pm on the main stage two years ago. That was a really special day for me, the day my song ‘Espresso’ came out.”
The singer also discussed how she approaches live performances, explaining that she adopts a different mindset when on stage. She described performing as switching into a specific mode, while maintaining a separation between her professional and personal identity off stage.
Carpenter added that live concerts remain central to her work, citing the connection with audiences as a key influence. She said shows allow her to experience the energy of large crowds and engage with diverse audiences.
The performances follow the release of her album Man’s Best Friend and recent music videos, as she continues preparations for the festival appearances.
