Kuchlak murder mystery solved; husband main suspect
Police have solved the blind murder case of a woman whose body was recovered from a rainy drain in Kuchlak, a suburb of Quetta, within just a few days.
The body of the woman, later identified as Nosheen, was found wrapped in a black blanket in the Killi Kater nullah on April 2. Following immediate information about the incident, the Crime Scene Unit was dispatched to the site. Police collected evidence from the location, shifted the body to a hospital for post-mortem, registered a case, and handed over the investigation to the Serious Crime Investigation Wing.
A special investigation team was formed under the supervision of SSP Serious Crime Investigation Wing Dr Sami Malik. The team conducted a thorough examination of the crime scene, gathered various pieces of evidence, and used CCTV footage to trace the suspects. Through modern technology, effec-tive strategy, and professional investigation, police arrested an important accomplice, Noor Muham-mad.
During interrogation, Noor Muhammad revealed that the victim, Nosheen, was shot dead by her hus-band, Sakhi Dad, over a domestic dispute. According to the investigation, immediately after the mur-der, the body was wrapped in a blanket, placed in a sack, and dumped in the rainy drain in a vehicle.
