No injury found on doctor's corpse

Police have expanded the scope of their investigation after the body of a doctor was found in a car parked at the Children's Hospital.
According to police sources, the deceased, Dr Ahmed Latif, had reportedly been suffering from prolonged mental stress, a condition known to some of his colleagues. One fellow doctor had also advised him to take rest and go on leave, the sources added. Investigators revealed that medicines had been found in his vehicle and sent to a forensic laboratory for detailed analysis.
Preliminary findings from the post-mortem examination indicate no visible signs of violence or external injuries on the body.
Samples collected during the autopsy have also been dispatched for forensic examination. Police officials said the cause of death would be determined once forensic reports are received.
The deceased ources further disclosed that the deceased is survived by a daughter and had divorced his wife four years ago.
