Tom Felton brought a surprising dose of humour to the set of They Will Kill You, using music to lighten the mood during intense filming.

According to People, Felton’s co-star Heather Graham revealed that the actor regularly carried a ukulele with him and entertained the cast between takes. “He brings his ukulele to work and he sings a song about joining a cult,” Graham said, adding, “He was making us all laugh.”

The film, a dark horror-action project, involved physically and emotionally demanding scenes, especially for lead actress Zazie Beetz, who endured long shooting days in tough conditions.

Graham noted that Felton often used his music to lift spirits on set, particularly for Beetz, saying he would sing playful songs to keep morale high.

One of his humourous tunes even poked fun at the film’s premise, joking about joining the cult central to the story. The lighthearted performances helped balance the darker tone of the movie, which follows a woman trapped in a deadly cult-run building.

Graham also praised Felton beyond his musical antics, describing him as a “really great actor” who brought both talent and humour to the production.

The film premiered at SXSW 2026 and features a star-studded cast including Patricia Arquette and Myha'la. Despite its intense subject matter, behind-the-scenes moments like Felton’s ukulele sessions added levity to an otherwise demanding shoot.
