Jimmy Kimmel attends No Kings protest in California with family

Jimmy Kimmel attended a “No Kings” protest in Torrance, California, over the weekend, accompanied by members of his family. The television host later shared images from the rally on Instagram, offering a glimpse into the demonstration and his participation.

Photographs from the event show Kimmel holding a poster featuring a depiction of Donald Trump wearing a crown alongside critical messaging. Two of his children were also present, each carrying their own signs.

One sign read, “The only king we need is Burger King,” while another referred to Trump as “The Lying King.” Kimmel’s father joined the gathering as well, wearing a Barack Obama hat and holding a sign that read “Deport ICE.”

The protest in Torrance formed part of a wider series of demonstrations linked to ongoing political tensions in the United States. Kimmel captioned his Instagram post, “Great turnout at #NoKings,” highlighting the scale of attendance at the rally.

The television host has reportedly taken part in multiple protests in recent weeks, often alongside his family. His involvement reflects a continued engagement with political and social issues, both through public appearances and commentary on his platform.

In a previous monologue in October 2025, Kimmel discussed the significance of such demonstrations, stating, “There is nothing more American than a political protest. The American Revolution was a ‘No Kings’ protest.” In the same remarks, he also criticised responses from some political groups and encouraged creativity among demonstrators.

Images from the Torrance event were also shared by Chris Murphy on X, who posted a photo with Kimmel and referenced their meeting at the rally.
