Robert Pattinson has sparked discussion among fans after a brief red carpet interview prompted speculation about a possible reference to his former co-star Kristen Stewart.

During an interview for The Drama with Italy’s Best Movie Magazine, Pattinson was asked about red flags, including zodiac signs. He replied, “Like zodiac sign? Aries,” before adding, “Actually, I’m joking. I just picked a random one.”

Although the comment appeared light-hearted, some viewers quickly connected it to Stewart, who was born on April 9 and is an Aries. The clip circulated widely on social media, leading to interpretations that the remark may have been directed at his former partner.

Fans shared mixed reactions online. One wrote, “He’s so messy,” while another commented, “Robert might play it off as a joke, but Kristen Stewart is an Aries, so it seemed intentional, & he laughed it off.” A third added, “The way Kristen totally traumatised him.”

Pattinson and Stewart began their relationship while working on the Twilight film series, becoming one of the most closely followed celebrity couples of the time. Their relationship faced public scrutiny in 2012 after reports emerged that Stewart had been involved with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

At the time, Stewart issued a public apology, stating she was “deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected”. The pair later reconciled briefly before separating in 2013.

In recent years, both actors have appeared to move on amicably, with occasional reports suggesting friendly interactions. Despite renewed online speculation, there is no indication that Pattinson’s recent comment was intended as a direct reference.
