Rockstar Games has announced a recruitment drive for game testers ahead of the planned release of Grand Theft Auto 6, offering selected applicants an opportunity to work on upcoming projects connected to the title.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, following years of anticipation surrounding the next entry in the long-running franchise. The game is expected to return players to Vice City, with early information suggesting a large-scale and ambitious project.

In a recent post, a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Rockstar encouraged interested candidates to apply for testing roles. “If you have a passion for gaming, this may be the ideal position for you,” she said. The recruitment is focused on positions at the company’s Bangalore office, with applicants invited to attend a session on April 18, 2026.

According to the application details, selected candidates will contribute to “some of the most rewarding, large-scale creative projects to be found in any entertainment medium.” The description aligns with previous statements made by company leadership regarding the scope of the upcoming release.

Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive, has previously stated that Grand Theft Auto 6 will “set creative benchmarks for the series, industry and entertainment.” While Rockstar has not provided extensive gameplay details, interest in the title remains high among fans.

Rockstar has yet to release further official updates on gameplay features, though previous leaks and related disclosures have indicated the inclusion of new mechanics, missions and systems within the game.
