Police deployed at worship places

FAISALABAD:

City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar issued a comprehensive security plan for Shab-e-Qadr and directed the officers to place security arrangements on high alert.

He said the police had deployed 2,112 personnel at 610 places of worship across the district, including 163 upper subordinate officers, 198 head constables and 1,751 constables to maintain law and order during the night.

He ordered Elite Force teams, Dolphin Force and Motorcycle Squads to thoroughly patrol their areas in accordance with the security plan to ensure effective surveillance and rapid response.
