The strained marriage between former NBA star Dwight Howard and his wife, rapper and entrepreneur Amy Luciani, has recently come under public scrutiny after reports of police visits and their ongoing separation.

The couple, who married in early 2025, reportedly faced growing tensions before Howard filed for divorce in March 2026. The filing came shortly after Luciani shared emotional videos online making several allegations about their relationship.

According to reports cited by TMZ, police were called to the couple’s home in Suwanee three times within a 14-day period. A spokesperson for the Gwinnett County Police Department confirmed that officers responded to three incidents at the property.

The calls were reportedly related to a suicide threat report, a domestic disturbance, and a theft complaint. However, authorities have not disclosed further details or clarified who made the calls.

Luciani’s social media posts about the alleged conflicts quickly went viral, though Howard has not publicly responded to the claims. Court documents reportedly state that he described the marriage as “irretrievably broken” and requested exclusive use of their Georgia home.

The couple had previously filed for divorce in July 2025 just months after their wedding but later reconciled. However, the latest filing suggests their relationship has again reached a breaking point.

Luciani, whose real name is Amber Rose, was born in Detroit and gained recognition through the MTV reality series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. In addition to her music career, she has launched several business ventures and authored a children’s book focused on personal safety.
