Travis Kelce was seen speaking with Kai Trump during a recent TGL golf event in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, drawing attention after a short clip of the interaction circulated online.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the granddaughter of US president Donald Trump were filmed having a brief conversation during the event on Tuesday. In the video shared on social media platform X, the pair appear to be chatting casually while standing near the course.

Although the seven-second clip offers limited detail about the exchange, it shows the two speaking animatedly, with Trump at one point gesturing toward Kelce as if acknowledging a point in the conversation.
Golf may have been the most obvious topic linking the two. Kelce is known to play recreationally, while Trump has developed a reputation as a skilled young golfer who competes regularly.
Trump attended the event with her mother, Vanessa Trump, and Vanessa’s partner, Tiger Woods. Woods is a co-founder of the TGL indoor golf league, which has been hosting high-profile events featuring athletes, celebrities and golf enthusiasts.
The connection to Woods may also have been part of the discussion between Kelce and Trump, given the golfer’s longstanding influence within the sport and his involvement in the event where the meeting took place.
Observers also noted the coincidence of their initials, with Kelce often referred to as “TK” and Kai Trump sharing the reversed initials “KT”, though the clip does not reveal whether the pair discussed that detail.

Kelce attended the event alongside his brother Jason Kelce, who co-hosts the podcast New Heights with him. While Travis appeared briefly on camera during the conversation with Trump, Jason was not seen in the moment captured online.
