Millie Bobby Brown posts beach photo with daughter as she marks her 22nd birthday

Millie Bobby Brown has shared a rare photograph of her daughter as she celebrated her 22nd birthday.

The Stranger Things actor posted an image on Instagram on February 19 showing herself and her toddler sitting together on a sandy beach at sunset. The child’s name has not been publicly revealed.

“22. grateful for my husband and daughter,” Brown wrote in the caption. “for my family and friends—all of my animals. I am so blessed. thank you for the birthday wishes,” she added, signing off, “ xoxo.”

Brown shares her daughter with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, 23. The couple married in May 2024 and later held a second ceremony in Italy. They announced in August 2025 that they had become first-time parents through adoption, welcoming what they described as a “sweet baby girl”.

Bongiovi also marked the occasion on social media, posting a tribute to his wife. “To my beautiful wife, happy birthday. Your heart is like no other,” he wrote.

The couple have previously said they intend to raise their daughter on their farm in Georgia, where they keep sheep, goats, cows, donkeys, cats and dogs.

Brown has spoken about her hopes for a large family. Appearing on the Smartless podcast in March 2025, she said, “I really want a family. I really want a big family. I'm one of four. [Jake is] one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don't see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting.”

She added, “My home is full of love for anyone and anything. That is what we stand by, Jake and I.”
