Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams joined Paul McCartney at the London screening of Man on the Run

Actor Paul Mescal and singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams were among the high-profile guests attending the UK special screening of Paul McCartney: Man on the Run in London on Wednesday evening.
The event took place at the Ham Yard Hotel and was hosted ahead of the documentary’s release on Prime Video on February 27.
Music legend Paul McCartney attended the screening alongside his children, Stella McCartney and James McCartney. The documentary, directed by Academy Award winner Morgan Neville, explores McCartney’s life and career following the breakup of The Beatles and the formation of Wings with his late wife, Linda McCartney.

Mescal, who is set to portray McCartney in Sam Mendes’ forthcoming Beatles biopics scheduled for release in 2028, has previously spoken about his admiration for the musician. In a recent interview, he described McCartney as “the most brilliant man” and praised the warmth he received from him.
Other notable attendees included Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Sharon Osbourne, Twiggy, Richard Osman and Marcus Mumford.
According to its official synopsis, the film provides unprecedented access to rare archival footage, documenting McCartney’s solo evolution during a transformative era in music history. The documentary aims to present an intimate portrait of the artist as he navigated personal and professional challenges while redefining his career beyond The Beatles.
