Miley Cyrus has revealed plans for a commemorative special marking the 20th anniversary of the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana, set to premiere on Disney+ on March 24, 2026.

The program, titled the "Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special," was announced on February 17, 2026, through a Disney+ press release and a post on X by Cyrus herself. It features an in-depth interview with Cyrus conducted by podcaster Alex Cooper, along with previously unreleased archival material and reconstructions of key sets from the show, including the Stewart family home and Hannah's wardrobe. Familiar songs from the series will also be incorporated.

The special is a production of HopeTown Entertainment and Unwell Productions, with Ashley Edens serving as showrunner. Executive producers include Cyrus, her mother Tish Cyrus-Purcell, Alex Cooper, and Matt Kaplan. Cooper also takes on hosting duties.Originally premiering on March 24, 2006, Hannah Montana followed the dual life of teenager Miley Stewart, who secretly performed as pop sensation Hannah Montana. In anticipation of the anniversary, Disney+ will launch a continuous streaming marathon beginning February 19, 2026, encompassing all four seasons of the series, Hannah Montana: The Movie, and the concert film Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert.

Cyrus shared a teaser video on X, depicting a mysterious figure in high heels approaching a classic car, transitioning to the special's logo and premiere date, building excitement for the event.
