Granblue Fantasy Relink Endless Ragnarok announced for Switch 2 with July 2026 release

Cygames confirms Granblue Fantasy Relink Endless Ragnarok for Switch 2 launching on July 9 2026

Cygames has confirmed that Granblue Fantasy Relink: Endless Ragnarok is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, with a release date set for July 9 2026.

The announcement was made during the Switch 2 segment of the February 2026 Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, where a new trailer highlighted additional content and returning characters.

The footage shown during the presentation confirmed that Beatrix and Eustace will appear in the expanded version of the action role-playing game.

Both characters are familiar to fans of the Granblue Fantasy universe, having featured prominently in previous titles and the Granblue Fantasy Versus series.

Granblue Fantasy Relink has had a long development history. The project was originally revealed as Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link before receiving its final title in December 2018. The game follows players who choose either Gran or Djeeta as their avatar.

Joined by Lyria, Vyrn and other allies, they set out in search of the legendary land of Estalucia. Their journey is disrupted by an incident involving Bahamut, which destroys their airship and draws the group into a wider struggle to save the world.

The newly confirmed characters are members of The Society faction. Beatrix is portrayed as a human swordswoman associated with the dark element in other series entries, while Eustace is an Erune fighter who uses firearms and is linked to earth-based abilities.

Both have appeared regularly across the broader franchise, making their inclusion in Endless Ragnarok a notable addition for long-time players.

The Nintendo Direct trailer focused on gameplay sequences and story scenes, suggesting that the Switch 2 edition will build upon the content of the original release.

The base version of Granblue Fantasy Relink previously launched on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, establishing a large audience before the move to Nintendo’s new platform.
