Is Storm appearing in Avengers: Doomsday? Halle Berry sets the record straight
'No, you’re not going to see Storm,' the Oscar winner hinted

During a recent SiriusXM promotional interview for the upcoming film Crime 101, actors Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, and Mark Ruffalo sat down with host Andy Cohen, sparking fan curiosity about the upcoming blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday. The conversation quickly turned to a pressing question: will Storm, the iconic X-Men character originally played by Berry, make an appearance in the film?
Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor, confirmed that the film has already been shot. When Cohen brought up Storm, asking if anything could be revealed, Berry kept looking away and turned around to have a non-verbal discussion with Ruffalo and The Hulk just focused on controlling his laughter but she replied firmly: “No,” she said. Cohen jokingly pressed, “No, no, you can’t say anything or no, we’re not going to see Storm?” Berry clarified, “No, you’re not going to see Storm.”
Cohen added a humorous aside, noting that he didn’t completely believe Berry despite her trustworthy response and remarked that he was intentionally not asking Ruffalo about the topic, given the actor’s reputation for accidentally revealing major MCU spoilers.
The brief exchange delighted fans, highlighting the secrecy Marvel maintains around its projects while teasing the involvement of legendary actors like Berry. Her portrayal of Storm in the original X-Men films remains iconic, and speculation about her possible MCU return has been a hot topic online.
While the SiriusXM interview didn’t give fans a definitive answer beyond Berry’s denial, it offered a playful behind-the-scenes moment showing how actors navigate questions about one of the most closely guarded cinematic universes.
