SUKKUR:
Three people have died of gastroenteritis in Ghotki in the last 24 hours, bringing the toll to five in a couple of days. Hundreds of gastroenteritis patients have been either admitted or are being treated at home. On Thursday night, Mohammad Moosa Pitafi, 45, passed away near Dad Leghari while Rano Bozdar, 54, a resident of Mirpur Mathelo also died. A boy, Rehan, succumbed to the infection on Friday morning. Last week, two girls and a boy died. It appears that patients are being forced to go to private clinics as government hospitals are not providing them with facilities.
