Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny delivered a blunt political message at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, shouting “ICE out” while accepting the award for Best Música Urbana Album. The remark sparked immediate cheers from the audience.
“Before I thank God, I’m gonna say ‘ICE out,’” the 31-year-old artist said. He went on to add, “We’re not savages, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens; we are humans, and we are Americans.”

His comments come just a week before he is set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show.
Last week, Trump said he would skip the Super Bowl, criticizing the selection of halftime performers including Bad Bunny and Green Day, both of whom have publicly opposed his presidency. “I’m anti-them,” Trump said. “I think it’s a terrible choice.”
The backlash unfolds amid nationwide protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement, following fatal incidents involving ICE agents in Minnesota. Government data shows ICE detainee numbers have surged past 70,000, a sharp increase from last year.
