Rapper Finesse2tymes was arrested earlier this month in Texas following a traffic stop that led to the alleged discovery of marijuana and pills believed to be Adderall, according to a report cited by HotNewHipHop and Fox51.

The arrest occurred on Jan. 14 in Rusk County, when police stopped a Cadillac Escalade driven by Finesse2tymes after noticing the vehicle was missing a front license plate. Authorities said that upon approaching the car, an officer detected the smell of marijuana, prompting a search of the vehicle.

Police reported finding a small bag of marijuana in the front of the car, along with orange pills believed to be Adderall. Finesse2tymes and his girlfriend, identified as FNG Shugga, were both taken into custody at the scene.

According to law enforcement, Shugga had outstanding warrants at the time of the stop and was accused of attempting to conceal evidence during the arrest. Authorities allege she hid a small bag of what they described as “green leafy buds,” believed to be marijuana, in her clothing. She was charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and a weapons-related offense.

Officials said that after Finesse2tymes was transported to jail, additional orange pills were allegedly found on his person. He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a prohibited substance or item in a correctional or civil commitment facility. Both individuals have since been released, according to reports.

The arrest adds to a series of legal issues the rapper has faced in recent years. In the days following the incident, Finesse2tymes addressed the arrest on social media, alleging that fellow rapper Moneybagg Yo was responsible for alerting police. Moneybagg Yo has not publicly responded to the claims.
