Matric, inter exams to be held at 400 centres
ACs, tehsildars to oversee exam monitoring, CCTV coverage made mandatory

For the annual matriculation and intermediate examinations this year, all assistant commissioners and tehsildars will be assigned examination monitoring duties, while closed-circuit television cameras will be installed at all examination centres.
Funds for the installation of CCTV cameras have already been collected from candidates. A total of 400 examination centres are being established across Rawalpindi Division, while the number of hard centres has been increased from 100 to 150.
The decision was taken during a special meeting of the Rawalpindi Education Board chaired by Commissioner Rawalpindi Aamir Khattak, who set a February 20 deadline for completing all examination preparations.
Addressing the meeting, the commissioner directed that the number of hard centres be increased and that monitoring at these centres be made more stringent.
He said exploitation of students who had worked hard throughout the year would not be tolerated, and no one would be allowed to deprive deserving students of their rights through the booti mafia or illegal means.
He directed that sensitive centres be listed and that the concerned assistant commissioners and tehsildars personally perform duties at those centres.
For effective monitoring during examinations, state-of-the-art control rooms will be established, where duty rosters of relevant staff will be issued and proper oversight ensured.
The commissioner also instructed that detailed checklists be prepared to ensure transparent monitoring of all administrative and examination-related processes.
During the briefing, it was reiterated that 400 examination centres are being set up across the division and that the number of hard centres has been raised to 150.
