Pokemon mod PokeFind brings community-built creatures to Hytale sandbox RPG
Minecraft modders PokeFind have confirmed plans to bring Pokemon content to Hytale via community-made mods

Pokemon is set to appear in Hytale through community-made mods, after the PokeFind team confirmed it is bringing its long-running Pokemon project from Minecraft into Hypixel Studios’ sandbox RPG.
The announcement was shared in a post on X, where PokeFind published early footage showing Pokemon models running inside Hytale.
The short clip featured the Kanto starter Pokemon and their evolutions rendered in Hytale’s visual style, including Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charizard and Blastoise. The team also stated that larger updates are planned as development continues.
PokeFind is well known within the Minecraft community for delivering Pokemon gameplay without requiring players to install traditional client-side mods. Rather than relying on downloads such as Pixelmon or Cobblemon, the group uses server-side plugins, custom resource packs and original 3D models created with tools including Blockbench.
This approach has enabled PokeFind to support both Java and Bedrock editions of Minecraft, allowing players on PC, consoles and mobile devices to access its servers for nearly a decade.
The team has previously built extensive Pokemon-themed content, including full regions, NPC-driven storylines, battle systems, progression mechanics and alternative survival modes such as Pokemon Skyblock.
According to PokeFind, the intention is to apply the same design philosophy to Hytale. While specific technical details have not yet been confirmed, one developer explained the transition process in a Reddit discussion, stating, “PokeFind been building a within vanilla Minecraft for over 8 years now so they already have all their assets and systems built out. Just a matter of them porting it over.”
The developer added, “Currently we are focused on getting something out there as fast as possible and build up from there with the community”.
The project comes as Hytale continues to expand following its early access launch, with modders actively experimenting alongside official updates from Hypixel Studios.
No release window has been announced. Due to licensing restrictions, the Pokemon content is unlikely to be distributed through official mod platforms and may instead be accessible through dedicated servers, similar to PokeFind’s Minecraft projects.
