Greenwich University convocation to be held on January 17
25 students to receive gold medals, degrees to be awarded to more than 500 graduates

Greenwich University’s 17th annual convocation will be held on January 17, during which 25 students will be awarded gold medals, while degrees will be conferred upon more than 500 graduating students.
The theme of the convocation has been set as Fasal-e-Gul (Season of Blossoms), with the aim of highlighting a positive image of the beloved homeland among the younger generation.
Addressing a press conference, Greenwich University Chancellor Seema Mughal said the convocation will be held at the Sindh Governor House. She said that the convocation dais of Greenwich University is completely unique and can also be viewed on the university’s website. Greenwich University honours those personalities and students who move beyond the classroom and play a prominent role in society.
She said that the lawn of the Governor House was thoughtfully selected for the convocation because it reflects a strong academic background and an atmosphere of dignity. She thanked the Governor of Sindh for accepting the university’s request, adding that the convocation had previously been held every year at the backyard lawn of Greenwich University.
She further stated that a Qawwali night has also been arranged after the convocation so that participants return with pleasant memories. While sharing details of the programme, the chancellor said that at the Greenwich University Convocation 2026, more than 500 male and female students at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels will receive their academic degrees and step into practical life.
On this occasion, 25 students who demonstrated outstanding performance in academic and co-curricular activities will be awarded gold medals, which have been sponsored by the industry. During the convocation, associate, undergraduate, graduate, MPhil, and PhD degrees will be conferred.
On this occasion, not only the graduates but also their parents will be paid tribute, and overall, the efforts of the Greenwich University administration, faculty, and all affiliated individuals will be appreciated for their contributions toward the training of Pakistani youth and the betterment of society.
