Taylor Swift gifts homemade sourdough to Haim sisters and Sombr during LA dinner
"Are you bready for it?", Swift's accompanying handwritten note read, playfully referencing one of her song lyrics

Taylor Swift treated friends including the Haim sisters and singer Sombr to homemade sourdough bread following a dinner outing in Los Angeles on January 9.
The singer was seen leaving The Bird Streets Club with Este Haim, Danielle Haim and Alana Haim, alongside Sombr, with each member of the group carrying a brown paper bag containing a loaf of bread. The bags were sealed with stickers reading “Original Sourdough!”, suggesting the bread had been prepared especially for the occasion.

One handwritten label visible on Danielle Haim’s loaf appeared to confirm Swift as the baker and featured a playful reference to one of her best-known song lyrics, reading: “Are you bready for it?” The personalised touch added to the sense that the gifts were made by Swift herself rather than sourced commercially.
Swift has previously spoken openly about her enthusiasm for baking, particularly sourdough bread. During an appearance on Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast in August, the Grammy-winning artist described the hobby as an all-consuming interest. “I have a different baking obsession every six months,” she said. “Right now, we're very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken up my life.”
She also explained that friends and family frequently act as taste testers as she refines her techniques.
Joking about her choice of pastimes, she said she has a fondness for “real granny s**t”, adding, “I'd say all my hobbies could be categorized as hobbies you could have had in the 1700s.”
