Police get 5-day remand of Mai Kolachi murder suspect
IO requested physical remand, stating that recovery of murder weapon was pending, further interrogation was required

A Judicial Magistrate West on Monday handed over a suspect to police on a five-day physical remand in connection with the recovery of four bodies from a manhole near Mai Kolachi.
The suspect, Masroor Hussain, was produced before the court by police in the case registered at Docks Police Station. During the hearing, the investigating officer requested physical remand, stating that the recovery of the murder weapon was pending and further interrogation was required to uncover the actual motives and circumstances behind the killings.
The investigating officer informed the court that on January 2, four bodies were recovered from an abandoned manhole in the Mai Kolachi area, triggering widespread concern and a high-profile investigation.
