Oscar-winning filmmaker Jordan Peele has sparked fresh speculation about a potential collaboration with Marvel Studios after his production company responded to fan rumors in a way that set social media buzzing.

Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions ignited the excitement when the company’s official social media account reposted a fan suggestion that the Get Out and Nope director might helm a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) project, adding only a pair of eyes emojis in response. The gesture quickly prompted widespread speculation among fans that something could be in the works between Peele and Marvel.

Shortly after the initial reaction, Monkeypaw returned to the topic with a light-hearted post joking about the fan theories. The company clarified it was not confirming or denying anything, a move that kept rumors alive without providing any official clarity.

The speculation comes amid ongoing interest in Marvel’s upcoming slate, which includes major blockbuster films such as Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Both movies already have directors attached, but Marvel has not yet announced creative leads for future projects beyond those titles.

Fans have been particularly vocal about the possibility of Peele tackling darker, genre-bending corners of the MCU, suggesting he could be a fit for projects like a Blade reboot or a supernatural team-up such as Midnight Sons. Many point to Peele’s expertise in socially infused horror as a fresh voice that could bring a new dimension to the franchise.

Despite the social media stir, neither Peele nor Marvel Studios has officially commented on the rumors, and there is currently no confirmed deal. Peele has previously expressed a preference for original, personal storytelling over franchise work, although his involvement with Marvel projects has been the subject of fan wish-lists for years.
