APTA demands upgradation for primary schoolteachers
.

The All Pakistan Teachers Association (APTA) has strongly rejected the cluster system for teachers, demanding that the provincial government immediately issue the approved upgradation notifications for primary school teachers. The association also called on the cabinet to approve the regularization of teachers without delay, warning that a decisive protest is being planned next year if their demands are not met.
Addressing a provincial meeting, APTA President Azizullah Khan said the upcoming protests would be historic, asserting that teachers would either achieve their rights or sacrifice for them. General Secretary Miraj Ali Shah, also speaking at the meeting, emphasized that upgradation is a "red line" and urged the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary to release the approved upgradation notifications immediately. He warned there would be no compromise, describing the demands as matters of life and death for primary teachers.
The meeting also demanded the immediate release of Grade 14 position codes for the tribal districts and called on the Establishment Department to revise its recent notifications.
