Why the ‘Spider Man Brand New Day’ trailer still has not dropped
‘Spider Man Brand New Day’ trailer delayed as insiders say it is not scheduled leaving fans waiting into 2026 for now

Anticipation for Spider Man Brand New Day has taken a frustrating turn after a new update suggested fans should not expect a trailer any time soon. According to recent insider chatter, there is currently no official schedule in place for the first trailer, despite growing excitement surrounding Marvel’s next solo outing for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker.
The update comes as the Marvel Cinematic Universe enjoys renewed momentum, with Avengers Doomsday trailers already playing in cinemas and one officially released online. That surge of attention has naturally shifted focus toward Spider Man Brand New Day, which remains one of the most closely watched upcoming Marvel projects. So far, audiences have only seen glimpses through set photos and subtle behind the scenes teases, leaving many eager for a clearer look at the story.
Industry insider Amit Chaudhari addressed fan questions on social media by confirming that the trailer is not scheduled yet, promising to share an update only if plans change. This statement followed earlier rumours suggesting a festive season debut for the trailer, fuelled by leaked footage that briefly circulated online. Those clips were quickly removed after takedown notices from Sony and Disney, reinforcing the idea that the material was authentic, even if unfinished.
Filming for Spider Man Brand New Day began in late July 2025 and wrapped principal photography by mid December. With production largely complete, Sony Pictures technically has enough footage to assemble and release a trailer whenever it chooses. However, the studio appears to be playing a longer game, possibly holding back to ensure maximum impact once Marvel’s current wave of releases settles.
The film marks the fourth solo Spider Man movie starring Tom Holland and the second theatrical chapter of Marvel’s Phase 6 slate. The story is expected to follow Peter Parker as he rebuilds his life in a world that no longer remembers him, while confronting new street level threats that bring the character back to his roots. Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Mando are all set to appear.
Looking at recent Marvel release patterns, a trailer debut in January 2026 now appears increasingly likely, with the Super Bowl in February also standing out as a possible window. If that timeline holds, fans could still be waiting several more weeks before seeing official footage.
For now, expectations are being tempered. While excitement remains high, Spider Man Brand New Day seems content to stay in the shadows a little longer before finally stepping into the spotlight ahead of its July 31 2026 cinema release.
