Is 'Summer House' getting cancelled? Major changes hint at show’s future
Discussions are underway about potentially reworking the format into a spin-off-style series with a refreshed cast

Fans of Summer House are questioning the future of the hit reality show — but cancellation isn’t confirmed, even as major changes loom.
According to Cosmopolitan, the series is undergoing a significant transformation rather than being outright cancelled. Producers are reportedly planning to move away from the original Hamptons house, which has been central to the show since its debut.
Instead, discussions are underway about shifting to a new location, potentially reworking the format into a spin-off-style series with a refreshed cast. These changes could mark “the end of Summer House as we know it,” rather than a full cancellation.
Several original cast members, including Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula and Lindsay Hubbard, are already shifting focus to a new Bravo project titled In the City, which is set to premiere on May 19.
Meanwhile, the future of other cast members remains uncertain. Ciara Miller is reportedly considering stepping away to pursue other opportunities, while questions remain about who will return if the show continues in a new form.
The potential shake-up follows ongoing cast drama and evolving storylines, which have raised concerns about whether the original group dynamic can continue.
For now, Summer House has not been officially cancelled, but with a new location, possible cast overhaul and spin-off expansion in the works, the show appears to be heading into a major reinvention phase.
