FaZe Clan faces uncertain future after Stable Ronaldo, Silky, Lacy and JasonTheWeen exit

FaZe Clan is confronting a critical moment after a significant number of prominent creators confirmed their departures, deepening concerns about the long-term stability of the once-influential organisation.

The most recent exits became public on December 25, when several creators announced they were leaving FaZe, often through livestreams or brief social media statements. The announcements followed the abrupt end of the FaZemas subathon, prompting widespread speculation that internal tensions had reached a tipping point.

The departures come after a turbulent period for FaZe’s leadership. FaZe Banks returned as chief executive in 2024 with the aim of restoring the brand’s reputation, but stepped down in July 2025 following backlash connected to the failed MLG Crypto meme coin project.

While denying it was a scam, he said the controversy had affected his mental health. Later in 2025, a new leadership group, including general manager Rana Kaplan, assumed control, promoting a more corporate and streamlined approach after setbacks such as the 2024 FaZe house eviction.

Several well-known creators have now confirmed their exits. Stable Ronaldo, one of FaZe’s most recognisable Fortnite personalities since 2022, announced his departure. Silky followed after addressing the situation during a livestream, while JasonTheWeen shared a post confirming he had also left the organisation.

Lacy, who was previously removed and later reinstated earlier in 2025, exited again during the latest wave. Plaqueboymax had already left in August 2025, choosing to focus on building his independent 5$TAR brand.

None of the creators have offered a full public explanation, leaving fans to interpret brief comments and indirect remarks. Much of the discussion centres on contract disputes, revenue-sharing concerns and frustration with reduced creative freedom under a more corporate structure.

FaZe’s competitive teams have also struggled throughout 2025, particularly in CS2, where inconsistent results and frequent roster changes have added to the sense of instability.
