David and Victoria Beckham unfollow son Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz on Instagram amid family feud

The Beckhams and their eldest son have unfollowed each other on Instagram amid reports of family tension

David and Victoria Beckham are no longer following their eldest son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham or his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham on Instagram, amid ongoing reports of tension within the family.

As of Saturday, the apparent unfollowing is mutual, with Brooklyn and Nicola also no longer following David or Victoria on the platform.

David and Victoria continue to follow their younger sons Romeo and Cruz Beckham, while their daughter Harper does not yet have an Instagram account. Brooklyn still follows an account dedicated to Romeo’s photography work but has unfollowed his brothers’ official profiles. Nicola does not follow either of her brothers-in-law.

The development comes against the backdrop of reported strain between Brooklyn and his parents dating back to shortly before his 2022 wedding to Nicola. Previous reports suggested tension arose after Nicola chose to wear a Valentino couture gown rather than a design by Victoria. Additional disagreement was said to have followed a performance by Marc Anthony during the couple’s first dance.

“The dance was a meaningful centerpiece planned just for the couple,” a source previously said. “It’s sad and inexplicable that such a special moment was hijacked,” another insider added, noting that there was no malicious intent.

Brooklyn and Nicola were also absent from David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May. In October, a source claimed, “Brooklyn has no interest in mending things at this time. He’s really focused on living a peaceful, drama-free life with Nicola.”

Brooklyn briefly addressed rumours in September, saying, “Everyone is always going to say rubbish,” before adding, “There’s always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife.”

David and Victoria have not commented publicly on the situation, though speculation of reconciliation briefly surfaced after a holiday display shared by Victoria appeared to include a stocking for Brooklyn alongside his siblings.
