Michalka is best known for her roles on The Goldbergs and Schooled, as well as her music career as one half of the duo Aly and AJ. Ludwig rose to prominence through his work on Vikings and The Hunger Games franchise. Both actors expressed excitement about joining the critically acclaimed series.

Season 4 of The White Lotus is expected to be set in France, following previous seasons filmed in Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand.
