Political, religious leaders express solidarity with PST

Leaders of various political and religious parties, along with prominent members of civil society, visited Qadri House, the residence of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) Chairman Engineer Muhammad Sarwat Ijaz Qadri, to express solidarity with the party.

During the visit, the delegations strongly condemned the police raid on the PST chairman's residence, terming it an act of harassment and a violation of fundamental human rights. They said such actions against peaceful religious and political leadership were against democratic norms and could fuel unrest in society.

The visiting delegations included representatives of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat, members of the legal fraternity, and noted business figures. They met central and local leaders of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, expressed complete solidarity with them, and congratulated them on the release of those who had been detained.

The delegations reaffirmed their resolve to continue standing with Pakistan Sunni Tehreek on all forums and to raise a united voice against what they described as unjust actions. They also demanded transparent investigations against those responsible and called for measures to prevent such incidents in the future in order to maintain peace and stability in the country.
