Lahore court grants interim bail to Rajab Butt, Nadeem Mubarak
YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Mubarak were granted interim bail in the case against them for promoting a gambling app from a district and sessions court in Lahore on Monday.
The two social media influencers appeared before the court seeking bail in the ongoing case registered by the National Crime and Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) relating to a gambling app and cybercrime. Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmad Qureshi heard the plea for interim relief. Rajab was represented by Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq.
The court ordered both accused to cooperate with the ongoing investigation. Rajab and Mubarak had already secured bail from the Islamabad High Court (IHC), which had directed them to appear before the sessions court.
After hearing arguments, the court granted interim bail to both Rajab and Nadeem, extending it until January 6. Further hearings in the case are scheduled for the next date.
