Man detained for assaulting woman in public

Police arrested a suspect involved in harassing and assaulting a woman in public.

After a video of the incident went viral on social media, police carefully analyzed the footage, identified the location of the incident, and traced the suspect through CCTV cameras.

The accused, Shehryar, was subsequently arrested.

Police took swift action and registered a case against the suspect on their own complaint under charges of harassment and assault.

DIG Operations Lahore, Faisal Kamran, commended the police team for promptly tracing and arresting the accused.
